Old French grape hod

This large old French grape hod would have been carried by the workers in a vineyard when they picked the harvest - the loops for the straps are still on the back! Made from galvanised metal, this still has layers of original green & blue paint, making it a wonderfully decorative piece. This would make a marvellous stick/umbrella stand or a stunning planter. There are some pinholes in the base so it isn't watertight.
