Large painted Victorian chest of drawers

A substantial and well-proportioned C19th chest of drawers which has been painted in Little Greene Paint Co 'French Grey', a soft, pale neutral which works well in both contemporary and traditional interiors. The chest is oak with a mahogany veneer and has the original bun handles & escutcheons with rounded front pilasters which indicates a quality carpenter made piece. The drawers are large, deep and spacious especially the amazing 'boot drawer' at the bottom which has a depth of nearly 40cm so perfect for storing jumpers, linens etc.
