Large chapel lamp

This stunning lamp is very much in the style of an Italian Baroque chapel candlestick with a baluster, knops and fluting on a three sided scrolling base. Despite looking like carved wood, it's actually plaster and it's been very difficult to date - if it's not a genuine antiques it's a very convincing copy - the wiring and fittings were definitely old when we got it and it's been rewired to current British specifications using fabric braided cord to compliment the age of the piece. Fitting is for bayonette LED bulbs and on/off switch is at the base of the bulb holder.
