Antique French Louis XV style chair B

Stunning C19th chair in the Louis XV style with the original parcel-gilt finish against a painted stoney-grey paint, all beautifully and authentically weathered with age. Elegant cabriole legs and a cartouche back topped with a well carved floral motif.

The grey upholstery is finished with brass domed tacks - the upholstery is not new and whilst being absolutely servicable, it does have some marks (as shown in the photos) which could be professionally cleaned or you may prefer to upholster in your own choice of fabric. The frame is heavy and very stable and the seat is comfortable.
