Antique French chevet or bedside

This beautiful C19th French chevet or bedside is carved from either cherry or fruit wood and features elegant slender cabriole legs and a nicely scalloped gallery and apron. The open shelf provides handy storage and the wide proportions make this useful not only as a bedside but also beside a sofa or chair as a lamp table. The geometric cut outs at the back and sides are stylishly decorative and stop the piece looking 'heavy'. In lovely condition with a rich, warm colour.
