Pair of vintage Louis XVI bergere chairs

A splendid pair of vintage Louis XVI style bergere chairs with beechwood frames which have their original paint. Sourced in Paris and dating from the first half of the 1900's, these have classical fluted tapering legs and wide seats with loose seat cushions which are generous and very plump! 

The original upholstery bears some signs of wear as expected (as shown in the photos) and whilst being absolutely servicable, it does have some marks which could be professionally cleaned or you may prefer to upholster in your own choice of fabric.

The frames are absolutely solid and stable.
