Pair of French Neoclassical salon or dining chairs

A genuinely gorgeous pair of C19th French chairs with fluted tapered legs which compliment the fluted spindle backs with a carved crest rail which features a beautifully carved bow. Original soft grey paint which has weathered with age, these are well sprung, solid and comfortable. 

Upholstered in a wonderful, textural blue & white stripe with a blue braided finish which echoes the suble blue painted details on the frame - the upholstery is not new and one chair has a mark on the fabric as shown in the pictures; this could be professionally cleaned or you may prefer to upholster in your own choice of fabric.
