1940's Lloyd Loom chair

A classic Lloyd Loom chair - one of the earlier models, originally designed in 1933 and the original paper label under the seat dates this example back to the 1940's. Renowned for being extremely comfortable, light and durable, this chair has been repainted a couple of times, lastly in this wonderful duck egg and thankfully it was done professionally so there's no clogging which is always the danger with these. The paint has worn beautifully over the years so the original pale yellow is showing through. The original brass cups are on all four feet. 

There;s a small snag in the weave at the front as shown in the pictures which isn't particularly noticable and is stable so won't get any worse.
