A fabulous quality Victorian toleware cash box with brass handle and lift out coin tray which sits on a ledge, so notes can be stored underneath. There is no key, so the upper internal catch has been bent inwards to stop the box locking accidentally.
There is the expected wear to the paintwork as expected on an item of this age, however this just adds to the charm. It would make a great memories or jewellery box.
