Victorian spelter cherub

The most adorable Victorian spelter cherub - beautifully cast with lovely clear detail. Made from spelter then decorated to look like bronze, the finish shows wear and genuine age. This would have been part of a larger piece of furniture, possibly a clock or mirror and as a result doesn't stand on his own, he needs to be propped up but has a lovely stance! Sadly missing one of the wings (as shown) which doesn't notice much from the front but has been taken into account with the price.
