Set of 6 William Suckling sterling silver spoons
A stunning early set of 6 Art Deco sterling silver demitasse spoons with an elongated oval bowl with pointed end facing towards handle. The handles have thick scroll shapes, flat edges and tapered ends. All of the pieces are signed, "S Ld" and are hallmarked with an anchor (Birmingham), lion (sterling silver) and four have the date letter L for 1935 whilst two have the date latter N for 1937.
Traditionally demitasse spoons are used for coffee drinks in specialty cups and for spooning cappuccino froth, but they also make great tea and condiment spoons.
All are in excellent vintage condition.
