Pair of Edwardian ebony & sterling silver candlesticks

A rather smart pair of antique turned ebony candlesticks with beautiful, hallmarked sterling silver mounts on the base which feature elegant scrolling decoration and a vacant cartouche, perfect for personalising. The drip pan at the top is removable and also features sterling silver covers which have the matching scrolling decoration to the base and both the top and the mounts have hallmarks for London - one is 1908 the other 1909. One of the tops has some small dents and dings but both display well and are of lovely quality.
