Art Deco brass box

This wonderfully stylish brass box is decorated in a very typically Art Deco manner with engine-turned decoration on the top and stepped edges and opener. Standing on 4 feet, even the bottom has been covered in brass indicating an item of some quality. The interior is wooden and has a central divide so either for playing cards or cigarettes, now it would make a wonderful jewellery box.
