Antique Gibson & Sons lustre jug

Lustreware was initially introduced to imitate the silverware of the upper classes but has become collectable & desirable in it's own right and we have to confess to being big fans! This silver lustre jug is just the sweetest little size and has a great tubby shape as well as being in great condition. Stamped for Gibson & Sons in Burslem, this dates to the early 1900's and would be perfect for a creamer, little sauce jug or for a posy of wildflowers....
