Antique French gilt oval mirror

A classic C19th French mirror with beautifully gilded oval frame with elements of the original red bole showing through. There are a couple of small knocks to the frame which we've shown in the pictures, but nothing that detracts from the impact of this fabulously proportioned mirror. The original backing has gone and been replaced with card which doesn't affect the mirror but mentioned for the sake of accuracy.

This has been strung to hang portrait but could be oriented to landscape - please let us know if you wish to make this change.
