Pair of antique cherub candlesticks

This pair of antique candlesticks are probably cast in spelter and feature a trio of cherubs or putti around a column. The cherubs are nicely cast and in good condition with a baise base (which may be weighted). There are flashes of gilt in places which we think may be remnants of something that was plated on the top originally? Classical and charming.
