Edwardian novelty nutcracker

We love these old nutcrackers and pick them up whenever we find them! Modelled in cast iron as a dog, lift the tail to open his mouth, then press down to crack the nut! These have been reproduced in some number, but this is an old one (c. 1910) with the registration number and Made in England stamp on the tail and the wear you'd expect from a piece of this age. A good weight - this would make a lovely gift.
