Early 1900's mirrored top cake stand

This Edwardian cake stand started life in a Lyons Tea House displaying tempting treats in the window display - the gentleman we bought it from told us about how his mum trained there and when she left in the 1950's she bought this from them to use in her own burgeoning cake business. It's been beautifully looked after - the engraved detail on all four sides, the ornate splayed feet, and the wonderful original mirrored top make this just as perfect for wedding cakes today or equally as effective for displays and decoration. The square shape is also more unusual than the round examples.
