Early 1900's galvanised dolly tub D

A classic garden antique, these old dolly tubs are highly sought after because they look fantastic planted up with olive or bay trees, either alone or amongst a collection. Made from galvanised steel, they were originally for washing laundry and the ribbed sides would be used to agitate the material to help cleaning. Originals, like this one are strong, heavy and robust with great patination.

This has an integral soap tray on one side and a pouring spout on the other. Small pin holes to the base and a small dink on one side.
